PFARMOUR BREACH
The breach is the event
If the prop account hits maximum drawdown, the hedge on your own broker is sized so the challenge fee is designed to come back. In Margin mode that scenario is also where the surplus is designed to land.
This is not a refund from the firm, and it is not a guarantee: it depends on configuration, capital, and friction (erosion).
See what a breach is worthSCALING
The fee is designed to come back
On a breach, the hedge is sized so the evaluation fee is the thing that returns, or a little over. The surplus, if it comes, sits at payout.
MARGIN
The surplus is designed to land here
The breach is the probable outcome, so it is the one that has to pay. More broker capital than Scaling. The floor is the priced event.
HOW A BREACH PAYS
Same shot, different ending
01
The evaluation hits the floor
Maximum drawdown on the challenge account. The firm ends it. The fee is gone on that side. That is the event, not a footnote.
02
The hedge is on your broker
Opposite side, sized to the fee, on your own MT4 or MT5. Separate balance, separate margin. The firm never sees that account.
03
The cycle closes there
In Scaling the fee is designed to come back. In Margin that same floor is where the surplus is designed to land. Configuration, capital, erosion still move the cash.
BEFORE THE NUMBERS
Short answers
- Is this a refund from the firm?
- No. The firm does not pay it back. The paying leg is the hedge on your own broker, with your own capital.
- Is this the hedging firms ban?
- No. That ban is about hedging the same book across two of their accounts. This is an ordinary position on your personal broker. They never see it.
- Is it a guarantee?
- No. It depends on configuration, capital, and friction (erosion). If the numbers do not work for the challenge you run, the page will say so.
- What do I need?
- A challenge on MT4 or MT5, and a broker account on the same machine. Futures-style firms are out. The plan on the next page is free, no card.
